So today I'm gonna talk about few things/spots that I've never tried/been to on my previous visits in Guangzhou.

Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family (Chen Clan Ancestral Hall) 陈家祠

So if your surname happens to be 'Chen', you should probably visit this place and you might find out who your ancestors are. This is where they used to study at and I really think that our study place should look like this too! haha. So much feels...So therapeutic...

The most impressive thing that attracted me is their good sense towards art. Their pottery, wood carvings, brick carvings..oh my! Can I just stay in there? There's an area where they display the glassware that they used in ancient times, I am so disappointed now when I realized that I never took any pic of it :( So detailed, you can't even find it nowadays because I think that people now go for minimal design because we are lazier HAHA

I don't know how to express my nostalgic feeling when I saw oriental style stuffs. So does past life really exists? If yes, I'm probably either the princess or the servant who used to work in the palace LOL

Best area for youngsters eh! You got everything you need there. So much better than Malaysia la. I think people who look down on China people are stupid. Their technology is way better than Malaysia k. You'll feel like you're living under the well after you travel more to other countries.

The one thing bad about China people is most of them are uncivilized. Maybe that's the way that they've been brought up but I believe it'll get better in time as the citizens in our generation would be more educated. hopefully.

Yi Dian Dian cheese foam tea. Super long queue to get this drink tho, even if it's raining it also won't stop them from queuing tho! Just after we got our drinks, rain started pouring but they didn't give up. Surprisingly just after I came back, tons of cheese tea foam drinks started invading KL. 

There's another famous one called Hey Tea but I didn't get to try it :'(

泰芒了 mango drink. I think this is originated from Thailand and also saw someone selling this in Kuching already. Wow guys...very fast sia hahaha 

Lai Hui Cafe  来回咖啡 (Tianhe area)

Found my second favourite coffee after Monmouth coffee from UK. They uses one of the most expensive coffee machine in the world to make their coffee : Elektra Belle Epoque. I'm glad that I've seen it before.

The cafe is packed. Coffee person will definitely love this place and the average price for a cup of coffee cost about RMB20. Absolutely reasonable.

Favourite dish in that restaurant. Super hot yam glazed with caramelized brown sugar and gotta dip it in ice before putting them in your mouth so you'll get that crispy on the outside, yet soft and warm inside texture! Mouthgasm guys. 

Ok done with my Guangzhou post and I hope I'll save up enough for another trip soon!

After since social media invaded our lives, our lifestyle changes. I miss the old us. The moment where we actually treasure more about happenings around us. The time when we get genuine updates from friends by meeting up for a talk instead of social media postings. The time when we careless about how people think about us. The time where we only get things we like instead of influenced by others. The time we think that we are good enough. 

The real thing that matters is actually how are you behind your social media. Oh yes you might have 1k, 2k, or even 10k,100k friends or followers on your social media platform but how many of them do you actually know? Do you treat your friends genuine enough to make them stay around you? Are you too drawn off by the superficial stuffs you see online? Does "likes" and "___ just followed you" excites you more than anything else? Don't get me wrong, I respect people who are being who they are. I used to get excited when people liked my stuffs too. I used to be "proud" and feel like my self esteem boosted when my followers increased too. But as I grew older...they don't really matter anymore. 

Lately, I do get sick of it. I just feel like zoning out from everything. I get too addicted to Instagram, FB, etc I can't stop scrolling on them, refreshing them, even at work. I think this is super bad. It doesn't bring any benefit to me by giving or receiving likes from people. I don't get paid for each likes or followers gained tho but why I can't stop. I am sick. Can someone tell me how should I get rid of this bad habit? I can't completely stop it tho as part of my income are generated from it too. HOW.

I saw people who choose the level of "friendliness" on you based on the number of "followers" you have online. Like seriously?

Anyways, there's still tons of benefit brought by social media. What I can say here is, use it appropriately. Don't be too drawn off by the things you saw online. People choose what they post. They only show what they want you to see. We are no longer young. I think social media is a great way to keep us updated on our long lost friends tho. It is also a good platform to learn new things, spread good influence etc. Keep in mind, know your boundaries. What you do on your social media also represents who you are, we cannot really know who you really are but at least we can tell how's your personality by looking at they way you write. Respect other's private life too and don't go overboard. I did lots of shitty stuffs before tho. I can't feel regret about it because if they didn't happen before, I won't be how I am right now. 

They said people change, I think a better word for it is 'improve'. We change because the old way didn't work, we change because we wanna be better. (unless you want a downgrade?) I hope we all improve as we grow older. Thanks for reading,

Hello everyone! I am gonna reveal the reasons of why am I gaining weight recently. #shittt You'll know why. So few weeks ago I went to Guangzhou, China. All I do is EAT. Even though our currency is dropping, food there is still cheap. GOTTA EAT EM' ALL! 

Apparently it's my 4th time in Guangzhou but the last time I previously went was during 2015 so many things changed, I was too focus on Instastory and I didn't really took lots of photos. Too bad if you missed it :p but you can always see my daily happenings on my ig @janicekongg I update my stories quite often till I kinda ditched Snapchat already.

Went there with my bf and his friends. We stayed at 7 days inn (jianshe dama lu) You can google it but in real life it is better than what I expected tho. I recommend you all to stay here as this area is quite safe. Few mins walk to Aeon and railway station is a lil bit far but the weather makes it nice to take a walk. I was told that this is a new area so it won't be as dodgy as those that we normally imagine of. The pic above is taken outside the hotel and yes there's this cafe named 'Mora coffee' in the lobby of the hotel.

Like what I said, I'm gonna recommend you all about the fooddddd in Guangzhou.

The first place we went to had lunch is at Guangzhou Restaurant (near Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street)

I've already did my research before I came and I've decided to try it because the review online is good. It was a good experience indeed as I LOVEEE the setting of this restaurant.

Super big restaurant and you'll feel like a tai tai while you dine in here. The food are quite good but nothing really special as we have lots of nice dimsum in Malaysia too. Since you're here, why not right?  Just EAT!

Then we went to walk around in Shangxiajiu Pedestrian street. Surprisingly, I didn't even shop for clothes, YAS, 

My bf who hates beer suddenly turned into an alcoholic in China tho. He said it won't make him feel uncomfortable and it makes him feel warm lol. GOOD NEWS ALCOHOLICS! Most of the beer are less than 6 yuan. whutttt. Like RM3+ at average. Drink all you can!

A meal like this is onlt around 50 yuen. Portion is super big too!

and now let's take a few min rest from all those food before we proceed to the last restaurant I'm gonna recommend :)
